About Me: My first show with Riviera.fm was in November 2016. I play jazz, some blues and world music. I promote jazz in Torbay twice monthly at Fougou Jazz, and also promote music at various venues in Torbay and Exeter. Not just jazz but world music and jazz crossovers into folk, soul, blues and funk. So not unexpectedly that is what my show on Riviera.fm is about, jazz with world music and more. I try hard to play music by local artists as well as new material from UK and international artists. I also run a music agency providing musicians for events, parties and weddings.
Passions: Well contemporary jazz mainly and music generally. I am always curious and love finding new artists and discovering new styles of music. I do like live music and try to get out and listen to as much as I can.
Favourite Music/Artists: I don’t have favourites really as there is so much good music to listen to but do especially like Chick Corea, John Surman, Rhiannon Giddens and Mahler.
Hobbies: Cooking, baking bread, walking, films, listening to music, English dissenters, anarchists and European history. I am learning to play the piano.
Favourite Things: people: An energising clifftop or moorland walk and a good red wine.
