Vicky Foster
Hi, my name is Vicky Foster, and I am a Director of Riviera FM 107.9. I helped to plan the station back in the year 2008. Since then we have come on in leaps and bounds from an internet station, with the occasional Restricted Service Licence (RSL) testing the FM airways (then on 106.2FM) to see if there was a demand for FM community radio. Our feedback was very positive from the local community, consequently, here we are today through lots of planning and the team’s hard work broadcasting on FM radio across South Devon.
I am qualified with certificates in Counselling, Mediation Skills, and Mentoring. I also have qualifications in secretarial skills namely shorthand, and typing. On leaving Commercial College I worked as a secretary for Berger Paints, and The Ford Motor Company in Laingdon, Essex.
Husband, Martin Foster (MD Riviera FM); we have grown up children, each with partners. Our Daughter is a Senior Graphic Designer, and our son is an Airline Pilot flying 737 jet planes. We have 4 lovely granddaughters, also two Persian cats!
