About Me: Born and bred in Liverpool, I attended Liverpool Art High School. Spent a lot of time in ‘The Cavern Club’ dancing to upcoming local groups including four lads in black leather jackets who later became The Beatles. I spent many years teaching riding and also as a pony trekking guide in Cheshire and Wales. I worked in the jewellery and antique trade in Chester for many years before returning to teach riding and running my own stables. I moved to Devon start a new life after my husband died and my first stop was Brixham, before moving to Torquay.
Passions: Chocolate and Gin.
Favourite Music/Artists: I’ve got to say the Mersey sound but my favourites are the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Beachboys, Queen. But now I really like Pink, Paloma Faith, James Bay, Sam Smith to name but a few.
Hobbies: walking, music, singing.
Favourite Things: Horses, drama, coastal walks, countryside, travel, good food and company. I have always enjoyed acting and drama is high on my favourite things list, whether it’s being a pirate, or a smuggler’s wife on the ’Spooks and Smugglers Walk’ which I used to organise in Brixham. I have no background in radio, but really enjoy being part of Riviera FM.
