MAIN BRIXHAM ROAD CLOSURE!!

A main road in Brixham ‘New Road’ has closed for resurfacing works.

Motorists are being advised to stay away from areas between Glenmore Road and Lindthorpe Way from today 24th February for two weeks.

There will be a two way traffic lights system in operation but there is expected to be some local disruption.

SWISCo will be carrying out resurfacing works on behalf of Torbay Council.

Cllr Mike Morey, Cabinet Member for Infrastructure, Environment and Culture for Torbay Council, said: “As part of our continuous commitment to structural maintenance across the Bay, these works are necessary and need to be carried out”.
